Hungary for Christmas

Sometimes opportunities crop up out of the blue and there’s no way you can turn them down. So when a classmate of mine asked if I wanted to spend Christmas with her family in Hungary, the only sane response was “Ahhhhh! Bien sûr!”.

Christmas in the Motherland

The weather was getting colder, the Christmas markets had sprung up and the chocolate bûche cakes were appearing in the patisseries. Yup, my very first winter Christmas was upon me. And what better way to celebrate than a pilgrimage to the Motherland: England here I come!
