The Indomitable Spirit of Warsaw

Warsaw was just as grey, and maybe 5 bazillion times more chilly, than Karakow. But we arrived just in time for one of the best ever things. FIREWORKS! And at a palace-cum-clock tower no less.

The next day, we found Warsaw to be a place both inspiring and horrifically depressing.

Foxes, Aussies, and Making Pals

The light fitting in my room exploded today (internally, so no exciting glass showers for me), and since the millions of tea lights dotted everywhere aren’t bright enough to read by, I’m going to start a new blog series. Ooh, fancy!

This series will document my move to London and all the trials and tribulations inherent in finding your place in a big city. I also want it to be somewhat collaborative, so if you have any topics you’d like covered or burning questions answered, then please leave a comment (even if it’s just to moan with me about the tube being delayed… again!).

Toronto: Our gateway to Canada

Wow, let me just brush aside some of these cobwebs. Oi, tumble weed! This isn’t some western ghost town, get outta here! Is this mouse poo?? Who said mice could move in here??

Ok ok I’m back! And I have good reasons for not having written in a while, most of which we’ll get to later, but for right now let’s talk about Canada. I went there. Yay!
